  • Details: As a lasting legacy of the Carlow Ireland 2016 Centenary Programme, this innovative and unique contemporary stained glass mural illustrates a Carlow narrative showing some key Carlow figures such as Micheál O’Hanrahan who grew up on Tullow Street and Nurse Margaret Kehoe from Leighlinbridge who lost her life on Easter Monday 1916, and tells of the role they played in 1916. Rich in symbolism the piece was created by Peadar Lamb, an artist working primarily in the medium of stained glass for over twenty years, using hand-made glass and a variety of techniques which have changed little over the centuries. Well worth a visit, Admission to the Museum as always is free! Opening Hours: Monday - Saturday 10.00am – 4.30pm
